Refill Stations
We currently have five water refill stations around the district. These stations are designed to provide easy access to clean drinking water for residents and visitors, promoting hydration and reducing the reliance on single-use plastic bottles.
From March 2023 to March 2024, our water refill stations have dispensed an impressive total of 10,419 litres of water. This remarkable figure translates to the equivalent of 20,838 single-use 500ml plastic bottles that were avoided, representing a significant reduction in plastic waste and its associated environmental impact. Each litre dispensed is a step towards lessening the burden of plastic pollution in our landfills and oceans, as well as reducing the carbon footprint associated with the production, transportation, and disposal of plastic bottles.
