Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO)
A 4 month pilot using HVO for the vehicles at the Gortrush depot in Omagh, involved 5 vehicles:
- 2 bin lorries
- 2 medium vans
- 1 small van
10,218 litres of HVO were used, and 23.5 tCO2e. Following the success of this pilot, all diesel vehicles operating out of Gortrush depot are all now fuelled by HVO.
